Day 1 Depart U.S.A. – Depart Newark Airport on Continental Airlines.
Day 2 Madrid – Arrive early in the morning in Madrid. Transfer to the hotel for balance of the day at leisure.
Day 3 Madrid – Depart after breakfast for a half-day orientation tour of the beautiful capital city of Spain. From the motorcoach, you will see the Prado, the Royal Palace, and other important sites.
Day 4 Madrid/Lourdes – Depart Madrid for Lourdes. If available, attend the Candlelight Procession".
Day 5 Lourdes – This morning you will tour the important sites of Lourdes including a visit to places associated with the life of St. Bernadette. Visit the Boly Mill where St. Bernadette was born, the locale Mill, residence of her parents, the "Cachot", formerly used as a jail where she lived at the time of the Apparitions: the Chapel where St. Bernadette received her first Holy Communion: and the Parish Church containing the Baptismal Font where she was baptized.
Day 6 Lourdes/Burgos – Depart Lourdes in the morning and arrive in Burgos in the afternoon. Enjoy a guided tour of the famous basilica.
Day 7 Burgos/Fatima – Arrive in Fatima in the late afternoon. This evening enjoy a video presentation on the history of Fatima by the Consolata Fathers.
Day 8 Fatima – After breakfast at the hotel, you will make a morning visit to the holy places at the Shrine of Fatima, including the Basilica with the tombs of the children, the Chapel of the Apparitions and the Miraculous Fountains. Afternoon visit to Aljustrel, the hamlet where the three children where raised: Valinhos, where our Lady appeared in August 1917.
Day 9 Fatima – Free day in Fatima. An optional side trip will be offered to visit the monasteries of Alcobaca and Bathalha and the fishing village of Nazare.
Day 10 Fatima/lisbon – After breakfast, depart Fatima for Lisbon. Visit the Miracle of the Bleeding Host in Santarem. Upon arrival into Lisbon enjoy a guided tour of the Basilica of St. Anthony, the Belem Tower, Jeronimos monastery, and the monument to the Discoveries.
Day 11 Lisbon/U.S.A. – Depart for Lisbon Airport. Arrive home same day.
