Day 1 Departure U.S.A. – Depart JFK Airport Iberia Airlines.
Day 2 Netanya - Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where you will met tour guide, transfer to the local hotel in Netanya with the balance of the afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 Netanya/Galille – Departure from Netaya and along the coastal road to Cesrea to visit he ruins of the ancient Roman Theatre and crusader town. Continue to Haifa to visit Mt. Carmel. Mass at Stella Maris Church. Continue to Acco to visit the old city.
Day 4 Galilee/Jerusalem – Visit sites along the shores of the Sea Galilee – Mt. of Beatitudes, Tabgha (site of miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish), Capernaum, Mt. Tabor (site of Transfiguration), and Nazareth. Continue to Jerico, the most ancient city in the world.
Day 5 Jerusalem – Full day tour in Jerusalem – Mt. Olives, Mt. Scopus, the Garden of Gethsemane and Basilica of Agony. Continue to Kidrom Valley and Mt. Zion with the Last Supper Room. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity with the Grotto. The group also observes shepherd’s Field and Rachel’s Tomb.
Day 6 Jerusalem – Visit the Old City of Jerusalem, with a walking tour of the Via Dolorosa, theHoly Sepulchre (Mass), The Christian and American quarters, the Kardo, the Western Wall. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 7 Jerusalem – free day in Jerusalem. Take a part in an optional side trip to Massada and Dead Sea.
Day 8 Jerusalem/Madrid – Depart after breakfast for Ben Gurion Airport for flight to Madrid. Upon arrival in Madrid you will meet by the tour guide and escorted to hotel. Balance of the day at leisure in Madrid.
Day 9 Madrid – Depart for half-day sightseeing tour of Madrid. Included in the tour will be an inside visit to the magnificent Royal palace. Also enjoy a panoramic view from motorcoach of many beautiful plazas and churches. In the afternoon an optional half-day tour will be offered to visit Toledo.
Day 10 Madrid – After breakfast depart for a full day tour of Avila. In Avila visit the places of importance in the life of St. Teresa including her birthplace as well as the convent in which she lived for many years.
Day 11 Madrid/U.S.A. – Depart Madrid Airport after breakfast. Same day arrival in U.S.A.
